Being healthy is more than eating a balanced diet, getting some exercise, not smoking or drinking too much alcohol. After all, we kind of know these things are important already. it is drilled into us daily! But that doesn't make it any easier. mental and physical health go hand-in-hand. To be honest, physical health has to start with good mental health.

What does kindness mean to you?
I am a psychologist with counselling, education and research experience. I am human and struggle sometimes with being kind to myself too. I know how important it is, and I tell my clients every day, but in truth I also know how hard it is. The good thing is, I do know there are lots of things that can help and I am here to suggest and explore those with you.
Because we are all different and at different stages of life, you will find different ways of exploring kindness. There will be questions to ask yourself. mini courses to do, information to collect, things to listen to and watch.
This is a space to explore how you are being kind to yourself and how you are not being kind to yourself. Mental health is personal. We are all individuals and what works for one person doesn't always work for someone else.
